Houston ISD School Board District IX

Myrna Guidry (appointed 2020; elected 2022)
This table offers an overview of all campuses in Board District 1. The second column on the left indicates the current management Division which oversees that campus. The current Board of Managers has no direct assignment to any campuses; they are all assigned to the district as a whole.

NES campuses are lavender. Non-NES campuses are green. Yellow indicates campuses that have not ever had library services, or campuses for which we cannot find the current information. In our efforts to learn whether a library was staffed, we learned that many different qualifications have been assigned to a campus library, which is why you see a variety of job titles in the green boxes.

The column on the far right lists what library service was available on that campus in 2022, the year that HISD was beginning to require that ALL campuses have a library and certified staff.  Mike Miles sees no use to libraries or even book - he just wants students to test well.
